How to use it
Add a PDF and choose how to split it: a file for each range, one file with the pages you pick, a new file every few pages, or one file per page. Several files are delivered as one ZIP.
How it works
Your file is processed entirely in your browser, on your device. It is never uploaded to a server, and we never see its contents or keep any part of it.
Frequently asked questions
What ways are there to split a PDF?
Four: a separate file for each range you write, one file with just the pages you select, a new file every N pages, or one file for every page.
How do I write a page range?
Use numbers, dashes and commas, for example 1-3,7. A range such as 5- means page 5 to the end. Arabic-Indic digits and the Arabic comma are accepted. If a range is wrong the page explains why before anything runs.
How are the output files named?
Each file is named after the original with the pages it holds, for example contract_p1-3.pdf. When there is more than one file you can download them together as a ZIP.
Is my PDF uploaded?
No. Splitting happens in your browser. The file stays on your device.
Does it keep the quality of the pages?
Yes. Pages are copied as they are, not redrawn, so text stays sharp and selectable.
