How to use it

Add a PDF, choose where the number goes, its format and digits, whether to skip the cover and which number to start from, check the preview of the first page, and save.

How it works

Your file is processed entirely in your browser, on your device. It is never uploaded to a server, and we never see its contents or keep any part of it.

Frequently asked questions

Can I use Arabic-Indic digits?

Yes. Choose Western digits (1 2 3) or Arabic-Indic digits (١ ٢ ٣). The format list shows each sample in the digits you choose.

What formats are available?

A plain number, "1 / 12", "Page 1" and "Page 1 of 12" in English, and «الصفحة ١» and «الصفحة ١ من ١٢» in Arabic.

Can I leave the cover page without a number?

Yes. Tick the option to skip the first page. Counting continues, so page 2 shows 2, unless you set a different starting number.

Do numbers sit correctly on rotated pages?

Yes. The number is placed relative to the page as you see it, so it is upright and in the same corner on rotated pages too.

Does it add to the file size?

Very little. Each digit shape is stored once and reused on every page, so even a 300-page document grows by only a fraction of a megabyte.

Is my PDF uploaded?

No. The numbers are added in your browser.
